Aglaonema Snow White is a species of genus aglaonema categorized under the Araceae plants family, native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. Aglaonema is also known as Chinese evergreen because of its origin in South Asia, original Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema Modestum) plant has deep green color leaves like peace lily petite. Aglaonema plants are attractive, varied, tough, drought tolerant, low maintenance, and hard-to-kill houseplants with colorful foliage.

Aglaonemas are perfect houseplants that survive in adverse conditions a plant, these are adaptable to low or artificial light, human livable temperature range and low humidity at ease, most plants under the genre are carefree about the potting medium as these can be grown in water, coco-peat or soil without hassle. Planting and care

This plant is the easiest to maintain of all the plants in this family.

Fertilizer

Fertilizing the plant with a liquid fertilizer once in 15-20 days will keep the plant fresh and healthy occasionally treating the plant with Epsom salt is also welcome

Soil

Aglaonema plant needs soil that can drain out fast as they do not tolerate too much moisture any potting mix that has good drainage is good for these plants. Any potting mix that is available in the market that is appropriate for the house plants can be used but for the batter results, one can rely on the homemade mix as well which is an equal proportionate mix of peat with compost and river soil, or the construction soil. Always keep in mind that this plant like other house plants does not like to sit on moist soil.

Propagation

Aglaonema plants can be propagated using many different methods, but the most popular one for individual users is stem cuttings. For bulk production, it is propagation using tissue culture. However, you don't have to limit yourself to these methods. Aglaonemas can be propagated in many different ways.

Sunlight

Keeping the plant in the right place is always a challenge because when the plant gets the opt amount of light the growth and the foliage are wonderful. This plant needs indirect sunlight and can grow good in indoors as well where there is adequate natural lighting. If exposed to mild morning or evening sun there is no farm but the plant cannot tolerate mid-noon sun which is very hot.

Please Note:

• Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving it. We’ve taken care of that with a better pot and rich soil.
• Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
• Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over-water it.
