Bacopa Caroliniana is a very common and widely used emersed aquatic plant. The leaves of the plant are a little thick in size and you will get the smell of lemon if you crashed it. Therefore, many aquarists also call this plant lemon bacopa. In emersed condition, they produce a beautiful blue flower.
It is mainly found in the wetland areas of India, and South America.
You can put this plant in any size of the tank from small to large. However, they are not very fast growers, and above all, they can grow above 20cm long.
Therefore, It is recommended to put it in a large tank. Then You will be amazed at how Bacopa can enhance your aquarium's beauty.
They grow well at 21 - 27 °C (69.8 - 80.6°F). But they can tolerate even lower temperatures than that because they are found in manly shallow wetlands. In those areas, the water gets very hot in summer and very cold in winter.
But the growth becomes slow in low temperate.
